Setiap orang yang mempelajari hadits-hadits Rasulullah n pasti akan sangat familiar dengan kitab sunan As-Shugra yang disusun oleh seorang ulama yaitu Imam An-Nasa’i. Nama lengkapnya adalah Abu Abdirrahman Ahmad bin Syu’aib bin Ali bin Sinan bin Bahr Al-Khurasani An-Nasa’i. Namanya dinisbatkan kepada tempat kelahirannya yaitu Nasa’ di wilayah Khurasan yang disebut juga dengan Nasawi.
